Learn how to use chopsticks (Or eat with fork)This place is amazing for Food, hibachi and the ambience.I loved the way we were treated. It can be little more expensive than expected as they'd add Tax and tips by themselves in the final bill. Over all, Great experience.

It was a great experience. It was my first time at a restaurant where they cooked the food right at the table. I recommend everyone should try this for family fun....

The food and the service was absolutely top notch. Definitely plan on going back many times in the future with family and friends.

The hibachi experience is the Same as a lot of other places but the chef was more fun than usual I think. The food was also better than some of the others I have been to. The sushi rolls were made really well. I did not care for the miso soup. Didn't take away from the experience.

I really like it here. They have amazing happy hour specials! The hibachi is also really good.

Rude hosts and hostesses. Made a reservation and waited an hour to be seated before leaving. Poor customer service skills. I do not recommend going if you want pleasant service.

Ordered for pick up and was told it would be 45mins I decided to give them an hr before I headed up there. Got the front door only to find a crowd of ppl waiting outside in the cold rain. I waited with them for 30mins before I was so cold I had to go back to my car. I called them and they seemed confused about my order then I was told okay 10 mins more that turned into 30 more. At that point I’m upset and call back only to get told 10 more mins so I told them forgot it and the man answers me “okay no problem we cancel” like it was nothing which only showed me that my food was never made and I waited for hrs lost on on gas and got drenched for nothing. I understand it’s a pandemic but that’s no way to treat your customers perhaps you shouldn’t be open at all or maybe a better system where you don’t leave your customers hanging in the cold rain outside for food that’s never going to come!!

Known for their Hibachi, which is delicious, don't get me wrong, but their sushi is equally as amazing!!! Great service, nice atmosphere - definitely worth a visit!!

I'm visiting from San Francisco. Hana is every bit as fresh as our local spots in SF. The quality is amazing, and I'm very impressed.

Huge shout out to my group's server! She was still in training, but Hana was so busy she was going solo already. It might even have been her first night. She was great. Fun, friendly, and kept drinks full, and food coming. Our Habachi chef was excellent as well. Worth the wait on a busy night. The food was delicious. I got the steak and noodles. Next time I'd try the seafood, fried rice and the sushi options. Confession - I have never been to a Habachi grill before. I was impressed with Hana, but keep that mind :)

Waited 45 minutes after having a scheduled reservation for hibachi, gave us free drinks for our wait and once we sat waited another 45 for our hibachi chef to come out and when we were given our bills they tried to charge us for our “free” drinks.I get it was a Saturday night but they gotta do better than this.

I enjoyed the carnivorous basil steak. It was great flavor, bite after bite of pre cut beef. My wife splurged on the seafood combo which put her on the happy cloud just above the roof lighting atop Hana restaurant. The taste buds already demand an encore return.

Yummy food and cozy dark atmosphere. The hibachi is fun for the little ones and the food tastes great. The staff is always pleasant and accommodating.

Love the hibachi! Always have a great time whether it's two of us, or a whole group. The hibachi lunch special is hard to beat, and the sushi rolls are fresh! Great atmosphere and friendly staff.

Everything was just amazing I love how I never waited for my drinks or food the waiter was absolutely wonderful I can't wait to go again.

It’s so sad to see that the quality and service has deteriorated. My family loved coming to Hana.We made it a point to stop here for lunch whenever we were in the area. However we served tasteless noodles for lunch today and our server couldn’t care less when we informed him. We left a feedback with the usher, hoping that he’ll inform the kitchen and make the necessary changes but the guy just looked lost, unconcerned and confused ! Very disappointed!

Good showmanship. Fun for children. But a little salty for me. I recommend to talk to cook less salt and souce

Good food, very entertaining, but should go with a fun group. If you are not looking at interacting with the chef's, it may not be the place for you. Beer selection could use improvement but sake selection seems good! Really enjoyed the hibachi scallops and swordfish combo. Fresh swordfish, and huge scallops. Have been twice and would go again. Can accommodate BIG groups.

A solid choice. The drinks are good, bar tender did not seem to go lite on the pours. It is however a popular place and they always seems to be working hard, which means noise. Tough for a date where conversations are key but great entertainment. Steak is cooked well flavor and temp wise. Sushi looked and tasted fresh. Friday may I however suggest reservations.

Extremely poor service! My wife and I were having dinner at the Hibachi with two other couples. At first we had to ask them to change one of our cups because it was dirty, the second time around we noticed that one of our plates was also dirty. After our dinner the hostess brought the checks ONLY to the men that were seated at our table, and without asking brought our checks separately (because we were the only female couple at the table) we felt extremely discriminated and uncomfortable. Definitely not a restaurant worth visiting again.

This place need some updating and a good cleaning. The staff was absolutely wonderful though.

My family and I always come here a few times a year to celebrate birthdays and we always get the hibachi. Our chef was hilarious and wonderful, very engaging with everyone seated ( we were sharing with another family of 6). I always try and recommend Hana to people be abuse the food is good for the price you pay and I've never really had a problem with the staff or the cooks. I look forward to the next time we return.

My favorite place to eat about once a week! Very nice waitress knows our drink order without asking! Awesome food best sushi anywhere! They make the best fried rice anywhere! BEST JAPANESE IN ALBANY!!

Ordered food on a Friday night. They told us one hour. An hour and 45 minutes later, order still was not ready. Had to stand out there freezing because if you didn’t hear your name, your food we just sit there and get cold. We were not the only people standing out there. Other people waited just as long. We finally left and went to another local restaurant and had our food ready in 15 minutes. Very disorganized. They only had one person there taking all the orders, cashing the customers out and running the food back-and forth.

The food, atmosphere, and service are all always top notch. I've been eating her for over 10 years and I've never had a bad experience. It's a wonderful place for small gatherings for celebration. I would recommend!

Food was good and the service was nice. They had some unique food options but also the traditional hibachi menu. I ordered a udon stir-fry which came out good. The atmosphere is very nice with low lighting and cool lights with transitional Japanese aesthetics. The down side is they do seem to be more expensive compare to the average Japanese restaurant.

Overall had a great time with a group of co-workers. They ordered Hibachi, and I ordered sushi. I found the staff to be quite pleasant, and attentive to my large group (16). Multiple waitresses we're vigilant to ensure everyone was taken care of. The hibachi grill and chef were playful and fun. Typical Hibachi antics. The sushi was decadent. The fish was supremely fresh, and the sushi was delicate and flavorful. Give this place a go, but beware they are pricey.

My new favorite sushi place! Spicy tuna roll was spicy, smokey, and delicious! My husband had the hibachi chicken and it had a great grill flavor and the veggies were cooked perfectly with a good amount of seasoning.
